Since 2006, the Lighthouse Retreat centre has been serving thousands of people based on the principle of heartfelt altruistic volunteerism. In addition to a small full time core of volunteers, a number of servers and facilitators travel here from far distances to support the events and retreats by offering their time, energy, and skills.

Our founder, Brahma Baba, believed that there should not be a cost set for people to explore their spirituality. This principle adds to the positive intention, energy and spiritual atmosphere that is found at the Lighthouse Retreat Centre

We do not charge a fee for any of our events and fimly hold this principle as a foundation to our service to the community. Many people have been deeply moved by the spiritual gifts and insights they have received here, and express what they have gained through their generous voluntary contributions and these are gratefully accepted by the Retreat Centre. BKWSU was established as a non-profit organization in 1974. Our work continues because of contributions made by those who have taken benefit and want others to receive the same. Any contributions are gratefully accepted.

These contributions are used to sustain the ongoing operations and services of the Lighthouse Retreat Centre. Contributions to Lighthouse Retreat Centre can be made on line or by cash check or credit card when attending the centre. Your contributions to the Lighthouse Retreat Centre may also be tax deductible.
