Session ONE – What is Emotional Intelligence and what difference does it make?
Join us for a 3-part series with Mike George for a deep dive into how to respond more effectively to the current upheavals within our society.
Every response you create, whether it’s fear, anger or sadness, starts with your learned beliefs and perceptions. Unfortunately we are mostly unaware of the beliefs we are carrying or how we create our perceptions. If we are to become the masters of our responses and not make our selves suffer we need to cultivate our awareness and start to accept conscious responsibility for all that we feel. Otherwise we become slaves of our emotional reactions and despair is never far away.
During these three evening sessions Mike will lay out a map of consciousness that can help you to see and understand how to adjust your energy. During the sessions he will explore with you:
- Why we create and feel certain emotions
- The real meaning of emotional intelligence
- How to free yourself from the conditioning of parents, education and culture
- Making the shift from automatic emotional reactions to consciously chosen feeling responses
- Understanding exactly why we create and experience fear, anger and sadness
- What to do in order to realise and restore your personal power
